On 16th Dec 2021, super typhoon Odette (Rai) hit the Visayas, Philippines. Rai is one of the most powerful storms to hit the southern Philippines on record. At least 500 people were injured and 56 others have been reported missing by local police. Many areas have no power, no communications, very little water.

The weather in Cebu in December is hot. The average temperatures are between 25°C and 29°C. However, with more than 22 rainy days, Cebu is an incredibly wet during December.
